Care For People is the longest-running home care-based agency in Centre County, Pennsylvania. The agency's emphasis is non-medical Companion Care provided in the homes of older adults.

Aim of Services

The aim of our company is to provide Honest, Reliable and Caring Companions and to help avoid nursing home placement. We strive to help older adults remain im their own homes, while promoting their independence and dignity

Scope of Services

Care For People will complete an in-home evaluation to determine the level and type of care needed by the older adult. Because we specialize in providing non-medical care related tp Activities of Daily Living to older adults at home, our service is not appropriate when nursing care is needed.. By PA law,our companion caregivers are not permitted to perform nursing-related procedures.

Hourly and Overnight

Care For People provides non-medical in-home care to older adults on an hourly, overnight, or daily basis. We match caregivers with the consumer’s needs.

Live-In

We can provide 24/7 around-the-clock or hourly in-home care. We charge a flat rate for our live-in care.

Respite

Care For People gives family caregivers responsible for the care of an older adult the flexibility to complete errands and appointments.

Transitional Care

We assist people people being discharged from Hospitals, Rehab or LTC facilities needing support at home. Also, consumers needing transitional support when waiting for LTC facility bed availability.
